Our Community

St James’ Church has served the local community since 1867. The church building and church hall are one of the few active community facilities in the local area. Members of the church are involved in helping to run Guides, Brownies and the St James’ coffee bar.

St James is closely invovled with the thriving multi-partner mission on the Ferrier estate involving St. James’s, Holy Spirit Church, Eltham Green Community Church, Greenwich Youth For Christ, Superkidz Community Trust and several other churches and organizations.

“ I love the coffee stop on Fridays as I get chance to catch up with some friends about what they have been doing and it gets me out of the house for a couple of hours.”

In order to build our community and our faith, a number of small groups meet during the week.
